House Watch Ltd. is owned and operated by Lance Dealy who has been a resident of Edmonton, Alberta since 1976.

After serving 26 years on the Edmonton Police Service, Lance retired in 2005. He specialized in two main areas; one being investigations, serving 7 years as a homicide & child abuse detective. The other area Lance specialized in is tactical operations which he did for 14 years. This includes dealing with high risk calls and site & threat assessments.

The idea of House Watch Ltd. was conceived out of personal experience with having to ask family and friends to look after my home when away on trips. At times asking friends and family may be an imposition, especially if they don't reside in your immediate area. Also with many baby boomers heading to warmer climates for long periods of time in the winter, this can be a further imposition. Having the peace of mind knowing that your home is well looked after by a professional was the key component in offering this service.
